Featuring special guest John Lundgren on sax. \nAbout Blue Dragon Jazz Trio: \nFeatured pianist Alex Czerny really shines…from ballads that remind listeners of the beautiful trade winds of Hawaii\, to explosive chops that come from the depths of volcanic Kilauea. Alex studied music at the “Hanns Eisler” conservatory in East Berlin and started competing internationally from the age of 8. \nBassist Delphina Dorrance\, a long time Big Island resident\, is well known throughout the musical community here from being the principal bassist of the Kamuela Philharmonic\, to being a founding member of the Pau Hana Pickers-a well known Bluegrass band. \nRussell Lundgren the youngest and founding member of the Trio\, unites the band with his rhythmic propulsion and creative drum solos. \nDoors at 5:30pm…show 6pm-9pm.
