DESCRIPTION: \nGrammy Considered International Recording Artist Buff Dillard of Charlotte NC is a native of Greenville SC. He took a serious interest in playing drums\, bass and the trombone at a very young age. falling completely in love with the trombone\, he made it his instrument of choice. His physician did not approve due to the fact that he was born with chronic asthma. \nWith determination and against all odds\, Buff continued to play the trombone with a strong desire to create his own signature sound and technique. Inspired by his father\, Henry F. Dillard I\, who was a professional musician\, and his uncles\, Daniel Dillard and Mose Dillard\, who are both Grammy Award Artists as well as recipients of other prestigious awards. He eventually launched his career as a professional musician in 1984 in Philadelphia PA\, getting the opportunity to performing with some of jazz greats such as Pieces of a Dream\, The Count Basie Orchestra and many other well-known artists in the industry. \nDuring his lengthy music career\, he has also shared the stage with iconic artists and bands such as Pastor John P. Kee\, Helen Baylor\, The Williams Brothers\, Boney James\, Alex Bugnon\, Walter Beasley\, Kim Waters\, Brian Simpson\, Nick Colionne\, Ben Tankard\, The SOS Band\, Jasmine Sullivan\, Dave Hollister of Black Street\, Kevon Edmonds of After 7\, Faith Evans\, Glenn Lewis and many more. \nWith over 38 plus years of industry experience\, Buff has been inducted into The Historic Standard of Excellence Biographical Publication “Marquis Who’s Who in America” and continues his musical career as a trombonist\, a producer and an entertainer. \nDoors at 5:30pm…show at 7pm.
