DESCRIPTION: \nJoin us for a special Valentine’s Day celebration with Mystic Nyahs & Shane Love with opening act Pau Hana Pickers & Friends. \nThe Mystic Nyahs & Shane Love are one of the most electrifying acts coming out of the Big Island. Combining classic reggae foundations and a soaring new sound\, this crew will keep you moving\, grooving and singing along with their multi-generational sound. With tracks covering funky\, futuristic sounds like “Time Warp” to stirring and uplifting anthems like “Solutions” and “Naturally Nomadic”\, they’ll be bringing powerful and fun vibrations all night long. Backed by DJ Quality\, a veteran selector\, this is sure to be a sound you’ll remember. \nThe Pau Hana Pickers bring their special brand of Americana\, folk\, rock and country to the Blue Dragon for a good ole foot stompin’ time! The band features Jonathan Brooke on guitar/vocals\, Jeff Quin on fiddle\, and Delphina on upright bass/vocals. They will be joined by Tania Lewis (banjo/songwriter)\, TJ Lazar (mando) and Liz Marantz (fiddle)\, who play folk\, bluegrass\, rock and what they call  “now-timey beachgrass” with the band Tramwreck based out of Gustavus Alaska. Liz\, who spends winters on South Point\, was also recently part of a Big Island Grateful Dead cover band called Da Kind Family Band. Tania\, TJ and Liz are delighted to join the Pau Hana Pickers at the Blue Dragon on Valentines Day! \nDoors at 5pm…show 6:30pm.
