DESCRIPTION: \nCome join us for Ocean Grown’s debut performance at the Blue Dragon. Doors at 5:30pm…show 7pm. Tickets are $15 in advance…$20 at the door (children 12 and under are free). Purchase tickets here. \nAbout Ocean Grown: \nSo\, what kind of music do we play? Well\, it depends who you ask. Our Lead Guitarist\, the Cosmic Catfish himself\, might tell you something different than our Lead Singer\, Tanner. Tim\, the drummer (and always the voice of reason)\, insists it’s reggae. Flex on Keys and Kevin\, on backup vocals and rhythm guitar\, are on the same page. But Chase on bass? He thinks we’re more alternative. In the end\, we’re all right—and the fun lies in the differences. But one thing we all agree on: Ocean Grown is more than a band; we’re a family. \nWe blend the rich\, groovy vibes of reggae with the raw\, powerful lyrical deliveries you might hear in Cali-reggae. We toss it all into the mix and add textures that range from lush\, chimney psychedelia in songs like “Over and Over\,” to hard-hitting\, groove-driven anthems like “Rebel Rider” that will get your blood pumping. \nWe’re all about original music. We dropped our first single\, “To Live\,” in late 2021\, followed by “Fire” in 2022. Our EP was slated for release in March 2022. Since then we have released singles like “Move On” in 2023. Just last year alone we released “City Lights” in May \, “Herbmon” on Halloween. Our newest single “Corrupted Times” came out a few weeks after elections. Trust us\, there’s plenty more to come. \nWe rehearse for each venue with one goal: to give you a once-in-a-lifetime performance.
