The Blue Dragon Tavern presents a “double feature” of Bass Bias and Kevin Coloso. for a night of eclectic music to feed your soul!

Bass Bias features the dynamic bass playing duo of Delphina Dorrance on upright bass and Dave Ojeda on electric bass. These two bassists blend together seamlessly elements of soft rock, reggae, jazz, blues, folk, and country to create a sound all their own. No strangers to the Hawaii music scene, Blue Dragon proprietor Delphina performs in the Pau Hana Pickers, Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra, Maui Pops Chamber and Pops Orchestra, and the Blue Dragon Jazz Trio….while Dave has performed with Bottle of Blue, Johnny Shot, Green Machine, Tomi Isobe, Larry Dupio, Johnnie Ness, and is a core member of Uncle Charlie. Bass Bias covers a wide variety of artists from Bob Marley to the White Stripes, and also performs original songs penned by Delphina. Joining them will be Jonathan Brooke on guitar, Tim Taylor on drums, and Diesel Tucker on percussion.

Kevin Coloso is an ukulele playing singer songwriter from the island of Maui.  Best known for fronting his West Coast Reggae Band, The Collection of Lone Souljahs, his performances are exciting and engaging no matter what ensemble he brings to the stage.  Having just released a brand new album, Kevin Coloso has toured the West Coast and Hawaii multiple times, as well as opened for notable acts such as The Wailers, Clinton Fearon, Rebel Souljahs, Fiji, Kolohe Kai, Iration, Anuhea, and many more.  You can find both his albums “Fortune” and “This is the Life” on all streaming platforms.
